CHALLENGE: Research, write, and design a 60 page book exploring typography in aspects of brands or companies in the same category. The purpose of this assignment is to produce a professionally printed book that examines typography as form, meaning, and information about the four companies that have been chosen within the same category. The chosen topic may be something that displays typographic treatments that consistently use a specific typeface, family, or typographic characteristics. The knowledge gained about these specific typefaces will then be used to create a minimum of five designed letters to propose a new and unique font.
SOLUTION: Each brand uses unique typography to express the personalities of their brands, so I decided to explore deeper into each brand to see how the compare and contrast. This project allowed me to learn more about each of these companies more in depth than one could ever imagine and also become an avid tea drinker.
